July 2023 Release Notes
Access By Segment
With this update, we introduce Access by Segment, enabling you to provide separate access rights for different segments. This enables you to grant access for selected users to specific question sets, drivers, or segments that have direct relevance to their roles, together with organization-wide survey data. It provides users with greater flexibility and self-sufficiency along with access to fresh, targeted insights into team engagement, while saving administrators time and effort.
Example: Your French regional D&I manager, who is also is a line manager for a team, will see their team access in one context and see the D&I data for France in a new access by segment context.
On Access Control, we add a new Specialist: Segment Specific Access group type in Specialist access, enabling users to now select between company-wide access and specialist segment access. Administrators can now create segment specific access groups and add users to the groups. You can then select and assign segments the users can view, and apply the access rights, question set, and driver access to all members of the group. These segments appear in the context picker where users can access their new views on their dashboards.

Action Planning
With this update, we make these changes to action planning checklist items:
- Each item now has a save button within the input field, replacing the ability to save the item by clicking outside the field.
- It's no longer possible to cancel an item with no input by clicking outside the field.
- The delete icon no longer displays in edit mode; instead the item doesn't save if there's no input.
- Each item contains an associated 'Checklist item' label above the input field, enabling screen readers to easily identify the purpose of the input field.
- Each item contains an edit icon, and it's no longer possible to edit a checklist item by clicking on the text.
- It's now possible to toggle a checklist item by clicking on the text, no longer switching the checklist item into edit mode.
These changes improve the user interface by making it more intuitive and in line with standard behaviour.
Customizable Privacy Policy
With this update, we now enable you to create and customize the survey confidentiality and privacy statement to suit the needs of your organization. This helps you to meet your data privacy compliance goals by improving transparency and helps to reassure your survey participants regarding privacy and confidentiality.
We remove the original message text on the survey start page above the Start Survey button and deliver a default privacy and confidentiality message text below the Start Survey button. You can customize the text below the Start Survey button to include your organization's message by inputting your message in the text box on the Confidentiality Disclaimer section on the survey schedule Email tab.
Integration Event Logs
We redesign the layout of integrations event log tables to provide more space to display your actionable log messages, enabling greater clarity and enhanced usability.
We also add a new Status column on integrations event log tables that displays:

- Information related to each log event.
- Warnings.
We now also specify the time zone as UTC on the Time column on integrations event log tables, enabling you to quickly view the integration event time zone for each sync you run.
