Steps: Set Up Workday Integration
- Create custom attributes, as needed, in Peakon.
- Security: These domains in the Integration and System functional areas:
- Integration Security
- Security Configuration
You can create an integration to exchange data between Peakon and Workday.
The integration enables you to sync either:
- All employees.
- Employees in specific supervisory organizations.
- Employees that meet custom criteria.
- Access theCreate Integration System Usertask to configure a Workday account for the integration.
- Keep theSession Timeout Minutesdefault value of zero to prevent session expiration. An expired session can cause the integration to stop before it successfully completes.
- Select theDo Not Allow UI Sessionscheck box. This option prevents the integration system user from signing into Workday through the UI.
- (Optional) Access theMaintain Password Rulestask and add the integration system user to theSystem Users exempt from password expirationlist.
- Access theCreate Security Grouptask and selectIntegration System Security Group (Unconstrained).
- (Optional) Set up an authentication policy.Add a row to theAuthentication Allowlist. As you complete the grid, add these values:RuleValueAuthentication Rule NamePeakonSecurity GroupAdd the security group that you created.Authentication Condition NamePeakon ExceptionAuthentication ConditionAny(Device is Managedshould remain unchecked).Allowed Authentication TypesUser Name Password
- Activate pending changes using theActivate All Pending Authentication Policy Changestask.
- Create domain security permissions.
- (Optional) Connect to Workday Using OAuth
- Resolve setup problems.
