Steps: Set Up Workday Integration

  • Create custom attributes, as needed, in Peakon.
  • Security: These domains in the Integration and System functional areas:
    • Integration Security
    • Security Configuration
You can create an integration to exchange data between Peakon and Workday.
The integration enables you to sync either:
  • All employees.
  • Employees in specific supervisory organizations.
  • Employees that meet custom criteria.
  1. Access the
    Create Integration System User
task to configure a Workday account for the integration.
    • Keep the
      Session Timeout Minutes
default value of zero to prevent session expiration. An expired session can cause the integration to stop before it successfully completes.
    • Select the
      Do Not Allow UI Sessions
check box. This option prevents the integration system user from signing into Workday through the UI.
  2. (Optional) Access the
    Maintain Password Rules
task and add the integration system user to the
System Users exempt from password expiration
    list.
  3. Access the
    Create Security Group
    task and select
    Integration System Security Group (Unconstrained)
    .
  4. (Optional) Set up an authentication policy.
