Concept: Survey Notification Integrations
Administrators can integrate Slack and Microsoft (MS) Teams to notify employees about new surveys and send survey reminders.
These notifications are triggered at the same time as email notifications and the notification text cannot be customized.
Users can manage their notification subscriptions directly on their Peakon profile. For more information, visit Survey Notification Integrations.
Slack
The Slack integration enables you to notify employees of new surveys and send survey reminders. Slack only notifies employees with email addresses in Peakon that matches their Slack email address.
The Slack bot uses the same language as the language used on each employee profile. For employees without access to an account, Peakon uses languages selected when the employee took the survey. Peakon also uses the language detected from the employee's browser.
Administrators require the correct permissions in Slack to add apps and approval from your Slack admin.
Microsoft Teams
The Microsoft Teams integration enables you to notify employees of new surveys and send survey reminders through the Peakon Microsoft Teams App.
Microsoft Teams will only notify those employees whose Peakon email address matches their Microsoft Teams email address.
The Microsoft Teams chat window displays a Peakon notification card that includes:
- Survey frequency (if any)
- Number of questions
- End date
When users click
Start Survey
, the survey launches in an iFrame format for the user to complete within the app.Microsoft Teams uses the date format MM/DD/YYYY on their notifications.
