Set Up Slack Integration
- Administratoraccess in Peakon and Slack.
- Ensure that you have the required Slack permissions to add applications, and that your Slack instance has approved the Peakon application.
You can connect your organization's Peakon account with your Slack instance to send employees survey and reminder notifications, and daily team suggestions summaries to managers. Slack will notify all users whose email address matches between the 2 systems.
You can enable 1 Slack notification type without needing to enable the other. Example: Only using Slack for manager team suggestions notifications.
For survey notifications, it's possible to use Slack as a complimentary notification channel, or to deactivate email as the sendout method and rely on Slack entirely, if needed.
- In Peakon, go to .
- ClickConnect.
- Authorize Slack access to Peakon.
- (Optional) Activate survey and reminder notifications.
- (Optional) Activate team suggestions notifications.
Survey notifications trigger at the same time as survey and reminder notifications from other channels, such as email.
Peakon sends team suggestions summaries from Monday to Friday at 9AM in the manager's local time zone. The Slack notification targets the line manager of each segment, and any manually set managers of the segment.
The app only displays in your Slack client after it sends you a message for the first time.
Users can manage their Peakon Slack notifications directly from their Peakon profile.
You can test the integration by sending yourself a test survey.

- To only send the test survey to yourself, clickSend test questionswithout adding employees or segments. Alternatively, add test survey participants and clickSend test questions.
