Manual Topic Regeneration

The system automatically generates topics at the close of each survey round. It groups comments into topics for each segment based on the aggregated data available at that time.
Administrators can manually generate topics when needed. Example: if you create a new segment or update an existing one, you may want the topics to reflect those changes. You can generate topics at the company level or for individual segments. You can also generate historic topics from survey rounds that occurred before AI topics were available.
By default, the system generates topics only for Manager and Company contexts. To generate topics for other attributes, use Manual Topic Generation.
Segments without survey data cannot generate topics.
  1. Go to
    Administration
    Data Settings
    .
  2. In the Manual Topic Generation section, choose whether to generate topics by attribute or segment.
  3. Select the
    Attribute
     or
    Segment
     option, and
    Round end date
     in the menu dropdowns.
  4. Click
    Generate
    .
  5. Confirm
     your changes.
Allow several minutes for the generation process to complete. Larger segments may take longer. If the Topics page does not show any changes, verify that the selected survey round and segment meet the required criteria. Segments must contain more than 10 comments for that round and 50 comments within the visibility threshold. For more information, visit Concept: AI Topics.
