FAQ: Why Do Scores Fluctuate?

Aside from an influx of new responses during open survey rounds, dashboard scores can additionally fluctuate due to your organization's data visibility window. This setting controls the longest duration of time that responses will be part of the rolling aggregated score.
Example: If your organization has selected 12 months as their aggregation period, all driver scores contain each employee's newest response to each question from the last 12 months. As soon as an employee answers the same question again, their previous response to that specific question no longer contributes to the question's current score.
Additionally, each organization has a separate visibility window for responses from leavers. This window is typically shorter than the overall visibility window, thereby reducing the time that the responses from leavers contribute to the rolling aggregated score. Example: 3 months.
It's also possible for employees to withdraw or change their responses during an open survey round until the round has hard-closed (up to 2 weeks after the soft close).
