Set External Benchmark

Set External Benchmark

All company level results use external benchmark data to anchor your scores to real-world results. You can select the source of the external benchmark, as well as the percentile. Example: For a 'best in class' technology benchmark, select top 5% in Technology industry.
  1. Go to
    Administration
    Data Settings
    Benchmark
    .
  2. Scroll to the
    Industry benchmark
     section.
  3. As you select an external benchmark, consider:
    Option
    Description
    Automatic
    The external benchmark references the sector that you selected in company
    Account
     settings. The benchmark consists of the average engagement score of all organizations in the specific industry.
    If a benchmark for that sector doesn't yet exist, the fallback is the
    Peakon
     benchmark option.
    Peakon
    The benchmark consists of the average engagement score of all organizations using the survey.
    Industry
    The benchmark consists of the average engagement score of all organizations in the specific industry.
    If the selected industry doesn't have enough data points, the fallback is the
    Peakon
     benchmark option, until the industry has enough data points. We add new data points to benchmarks on a quarterly basis.
  4. If you selected
    Industry
    , set industry preference.
  5. (Optional) If you selected
    Peakon
     or
    Industry
    , select the percentile preference.
