After a survey round closes, Peakon suggests various drivers as focus areas based on each team's survey results. You can accept recommended focus areas, or set your own focus areas. Managers with access to other manager dashboards can accept, set, and dismiss focus areas on behalf of others. The drivers that you set as focus areas display on personal and shared dashboards for employees.
Employees can contribute confidential suggestions on the drivers that you have set as focus areas. Team suggestions can help gain further insights on drivers that don't have enough comments to understand underlying issues.
When setting a focus area, you can add a custom message, which is visible on the
Focus areas
tab in personal dashboards and in the optional notification to employees. When you add a custom message, the focus area displays as an expanded card in personal dashboards, encouraging employees to provide suggestions.
Employees can submit suggestions to your focus areas if 1 of these conditions is true:
  • Your organization has activated employee personal dashboards, enabling employees to submit team suggestions on an ad-hoc basis or in response to a focus area notification.
  • You've notified employees when setting the focus area, enabling employees to provide team suggestions through a unique token from the email or on personal dashboards.
To increase the amount and quality of team suggestions, we recommend adding a custom message and notifying employees.
  1. Locate the driver that you need to set as a focus area.
    • If Peakon has recommended the focus area, click
      Set as focus area
on the driver on your main dashboard or directly on the driver's own dashboard.
    • If you're setting a custom focus area, click
      See all drivers
on your main dashboard and open the dashboard of the driver. Click
      Set as focus area
      .
  2. Select whether to notify employees.
  3. (Optional) Add a custom message in the
    Team suggestions
    area.
  4. Click
    Set as focus area
    to finish.
You will get in-product notifications when you receive new suggestions, and a daily email summary of any new team suggestions.
All suggestions will display on the
Team suggestions
tab of the driver that you set as a focus area, with unread suggestions at the top.
You can remove the driver as a focus area when needed, however it will no longer be possible to access the suggestions you received or your custom message.
