Paradox Browser Extension for HiredScore
HiredScore now supports the Paradox browser extension, which leverages a direct integration between Paradox and Workday Candidate and Application IDs to provide real-time status updates and an embedded experience within the HiredScore UI.
Business Benefit
The Paradox browser extension offers a more integrated and functional experience within the HiredScore UI than the existing Paradox iFrame solution. Through this embedded experience, users can gain real-time status updates in the HiredScore UI, additional UI elements, and Paradox-specific columns in the applicants table for visibility into candidate status. Users also benefit from the extension’s candidate inbox, scheduling, and calendar functionality.
Changes
With this feature, the HiredScore UI displays new visual and functional elements:
- New UI elements, such as status pills and action buttons. Clicking the embedded Paradox elements provides quick access to view the candidate in the Paradox browser extension This enables you to easily take action on candidates, including sending messages, updating their Paradox status, and scheduling interviews.
- On theApplicantstab in theRecruiter Productivitytool, the Applicants Table contains new columns. When a match is identified in the Paradox database on an active job requisition page, Paradox-specific columns are added to the applicants table, such asScheduling Status.
- The extension automatically detects matches and displays relevant UI elements when users navigate to a supported HiredScore page, such as the candidate profile or the applicants table.
For customers migrating from the Paradox iFrame solution, 2 existing UI elements are removed after implementing the Paradox browser extension:
- TheInterview Schedulingtab from the candidate profile in the Recruiting Dashboard (and potentially the Hiring Manager Dashboard).
- The iFrame integration is deactivated.
Setup: What Do I Need To Do?

These prerequisite steps are completed by a Paradox representative and Workday HiredScore Support.

- Navigate toSettings>Client Setup>More.
- Enable theBrowser Extensionsetting.
- EnableATS Embeddingsetting.
- SelectHiredScoreon the ATS prompt.
- Add the HiredScore URL to the new field (https://cloud.hiredscore.com/).
- Save the changes.
To enable manual interview scheduling at any time using the browser extension, deactivate theNote:Disable Manual Schedulingsetting inClient Setup > Scheduling. - Workday HiredScore assigns these recommended permissions to all intended user roles:
- Candidates: Full Access
- Ensures that users have complete visibility into candidate profiles and can perform supported actions in the Paradox Candidate Inbox.
- Scheduling: Full Access
- Required to use the Paradox Scheduling and Calendar features in the browser extension.
- A Workday HiredScore delivery or support representative ensures that:
- Theenable_paradox_extensionsetting is enabled.
- The feature is enabled in both the HiredScore Staging and Production environments.
- For customers migrating migrating to the new extension from the previous Paradox iFrame solution:
- Remove theInterview Schedulingtab from the candidate profile in the Recruiting Dashboard (and, if applicable, the Hiring Manager Dashboard).
- Deactivate the iFrame integration.
Steps
After verifying that the prerequisites are met, follow these setup steps:
- Download the Paradox browser extension:
- Access the Paradox browser extension through the Chrome Web Store, using the specific link provided for your organization's environment. The majority of accounts are hosted in the following instances:Only 1 version of the Paradox extension can be active at a time. If you have multiple versions installed (for example, in both Staging and Production environments), ensure you only enable and log in to the one relevant to your current workflow to prevent data conflicts or rendering issues.Note:
- Authentication and Login:
- After adding the extension to Chrome, log in to sync your HiredScore and Paradox sessions. Click the Paradox icon in your browser’s toolbar. Alternatively, click theExtensionsjigsaw piece icon and pin the Paradox extension for easy access.
- Select your preferred login method:
- Username and Password:
- Enter your standard Paradox credentials.
- SSO (Single Sign-On):
- ClickLog in with SSOand follow your organization's standard authentication process.
The initial login using Single Sign-On (SSO) directs users to the complete Paradox CEM page. After this first successful login fully loads, open the extension again, and a session will be established before automatically synchronizing across any other open tabs. After you log in, the extension runs in the background. It automatically detects matches when you navigate to a supported HiredScore page (candidate profile or applicants table).Note:
- Verify that the setup was successful by navigating to an active job requisition page in HiredScore. If a match is detected in the Paradox database, the Paradox-specific columns are added to the applicants table.
What Happens If I Do Nothing?
The Paradox browser extension features won’t be available in the HiredScore UI. Customers with the existing Paradox iFrame won’t encounter any changes and HiredScore will continue to support the iFrame functionally.
