Reference: Ticket and Document Comments

Ticket comments are general notes you make directly on the workflow ticket, and document comments specifically tie to the content in the ticket document.

Ticket Document Comments
Visibility:
Side panel.
Availability:
Viewing or editing a ticket document in the Editor for Contract Management and Document Intelligence.
  • When you view a ticket document or edit it in the Editor for Contract Management and Document Intelligence, you find comments made in Word for the Web.
  • The right-hand side panel does not appear while you actively edit in Word for the Web.
You cannot:
  • Share ticket comments with non-contract management and document intelligence users. Instead, use document comments for external sharing.
  • You can only create document comments in Word for the Web.

Availability:
Viewing or editing a ticket document in the Editor for Contract Management and Document Intelligence.
Contract Management and Document Intelligence delivers a quick reference for inserting and replying to document comments.

Description
Inserting and replying
Available when editing in the Editor for Contract Management and Document Intelligence using either option:
  • Edit
  • Edit online → Microsoft Word for the Web.
Comment persistence
Document comments persist in a copy of the document when you use these options unless you delete them:
  • Save as new version
  • Download new version
  • Share current version
Visibility
Comments made using the Editor for Contract Management and Document Intelligence appear in the right-hand side panel in
Comments
when you view or edit a document.
Ticket-level visibility
Document comments don’t appear at the main ticket level.
