Set Up Dynamic Table Rows

Have a table with the initial content rows you want to make dynamic.
You can configure tables to dynamically add rows based on user selections in the intake form. This setup ensures that the dynamic rows only appear when a user makes a specific selection in the template's intake form questions.
  1. Open the .docx source document that contains the table.
  2. Place your cursor in the cell immediately following the rows you want to make dynamic.
  3. Click the
    Table Layout
    tab and select
    Split Table
    .
  4. In the new line created between the 2 parts of the table, enter the opening condition placeholder {{variable}}.[[
  5. Enter the closing condition ]] on the line immediately below the row you want to make dynamic.
  6. Hide the condition placeholders:
    1. Select the opening condition placeholder.
    2. Press
      Ctrl+D
      (Windows) or
      Cmd+D
      (Mac) to open the
      Font
      dialog box.
    3. In the
      Effects
      section, select the
      Hidden
      check box.
    4. Repeat the steps to hide the closing condition.
  7. (Optional) You can click the
    Show/Hide Paragraph Mark
    button to make the hidden conditions visible.
