Multiple Departments in Single Sign-On Configuration

Security administrators can now assign multiple Contract Management and Document Intelligence (Evisort) departments to a user through the Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration.
Business Benefits
This change enhances security and improves user experience by automatically assigning users to all relevant departments on login, ensuring they immediately gain appropriate access to the folders that are secured by those departments.
Changes
Contract Management and Document Intelligence (Evisort) now processes multi-valued department data sent by the Identity Provider (IdP) when security administrators configure the IdP to use a
comma-separated string array
for the
Department
field. This enables Contract Management to assign a user to multiple
existing
departments upon login.
Considerations:
  • Department names in the IdP must match exactly (including case-sensitivity) with existing department names in Contract Management.
  • If a department in the IdP list doesn’t exist in Contract Management, the user won’t be able to sign in.
  • Departments aren’t automatically created.
What Do I Need to Do?
To use this feature, you must update your SSO configuration in your Identity Provider (IdP). See Steps: Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) for Contract Management and Document Intelligence
What Happens If I Do Nothing?
Your existing SSO configuration will continue to work as before, assigning a user to only a single department.

Custom AI: Highlighting Improvements

We introduce enhancements to Custom AI highlighting functionality that make the feature more accurate and aligned with user expectations.
Business Benefits
Highlighting now precisely matches source text more accurately and precisely, which increases confidence and trust in Custom AI outputs.
Changes
  • Highlight only extracted text:
Highlighting is now limited to the exact or near-exact text that matches the extracted values. This change applies automatically to all new documents processed by all models.
  • No highlights when no result is found
: Workday doesn’t return any highlights when Custom AI finds that there is no answer in a document. This applies automatically to newly-created models and to all new documents processed by all models.
What Do I Need to Do?
If you are publishing a
new Custom AI model
, the highlighting improvements will be automatically applied to all documents in scope.
If you have
existing Custom AI models
:
  • For new documents added to the platform: Highlighting updates will automatically apply when the document is processed.
  • For previously processed documents: You must republish the model to reprocess documents and apply the new highlighting. To reprocess all documents:
    • Click
      Edit
      to suspend the model.
    • Click
      Save
      and
      Evaluate
      .
    • (Optional) Review additional samples.
    • Click
      Review and Publish
      .
    • Select
I want to re-publish on all documents
. Note that for customers who are configured for Custom AI credit billing, credits will be consumed by re-publishing the model.
