Set Up Imports from Contract Intelligence Fields and Provisions

You need Salesforce System Administrator access and these custom permission sets:
  • Evisort Admin
  • Evisort Metadata Custom Field Permission
Set up scheduled jobs for
Import Custom Field and Provision Definitions
and
Import Document Field and Provision Values
. See Set Up Scheduled Jobs
You can import Contract Intelligence field and provision values into Salesforce Connector’s custom
Evisort__c object
. You can use these fields in reporting or custom scripts to ensure the contract data in Salesforce is updated with the latest information extracted from Contract Intelligence.
  1. From the
    Evisort Admin
    page in Salesforce, navigate to
    Sync Fields
    in the left menu, then scroll down to the
    Sync Fields
    section.
    This section shows the list of available Contract Intelligence fields.
    Option
    Description
    Label
    The label of the field from Contract Intelligence.
    Type
    The data type of the field in Salesforce.
    Active
    A check box that indicates whether the field is active for syncing metadata to Salesforce.
    Field Status
    A check box that indicates whether the field is available in Salesforce.
  2. If you can’t access the expected Contract Intelligence fields, you can manually force a refresh to update the list of fields.
    1. Click
      Pull from Evisort
      .
    2. Click
      Assign Field Permission
      .
    There may be a small time lag before the fields are visible.
  3. To prevent unneeded data being imported into Salesforce, de-activate fields as needed.
  4. From the Evisort Admin page, navigate to
    Sync Provisions
    in the left menu, then review the
    Sync Provisions
    section.
  5. If you can’t see the expected Contract Intelligence provisions, you can manually force a refresh to update the list. Click the
    Pull from Evisort
    button.
  6. To prevent unneeded data being imported into Salesforce, de-activate provisions as needed.
