Example: Run the FOPStep Sample Assembly
Workday Studio enables you to generate PDF files in the output of your integrations. This example demonstrates how to generate basic PDF documents. It contains 3 separate processing chains.
Security: These domains in the Integration functional area:

- On the Studio toolbar, select .
- On theProject Nameswindow, clickFinish.
- On theProject Explorerview, expand theFOPStepfolder and double-click theAssemblyfolder.
- On theCloud Explorerview, clickConnection Details.
- Select theSandboxenvironment and enter these values on theConnectionswindow:
Option Description TenantThe name of your tenant.UsernameThe username credentials for your tenant.PasswordThe password credentials for your tenant. - ClickApply and Close.
- On theProject Explorerview, right-click theFOPStepfolder and selectDeploy to Workday.
- On theDeploy to Workdaywindow, select theSandboxenvironment. ClickFinish.
- On theCloud Explorerview, expand these nodes: .
- Right-click theSimple-Startintegration node and selectLaunch Integration.
- ClickLaunch.
- On theProcess Monitorview, right-click the integration and selectWorkday: Integration ESB Invocation.
- On theWorkdayview, enter these values:
Option Description UsernameThe username credentials for your tenant.PasswordThe password credentials for your tenant. - On theView Background Processwindow, select theOutput Filestab.
- On theFilecolumn of theReports and Other Output Filestable, double-click the PDF file.
- Launch theInvoice-StartandKanji-Startintegration nodes.
Workday displays the newly generated PDF files.
Download and save the PDF files.
