MSS - Payroll - Advanced
Enables the Self-Service Agent to process requests from managers related to initiating financial actions, such as requesting payroll inputs.
The skill:
  • Calls the existing Request Payroll Inputs business process.
  • Uses your existing payroll and security configuration.
  • Respects the pay component security segment and domain security that you configure on the Self-Service Agent.
The skill focuses on Workday Payroll workers and enforces these key rules:
  • Creates payroll inputs only for workers on Workday Payroll. When the worker’s primary position is in an external pay group, or the worker has no pay group, the skill blocks the request and returns a message that the worker isn’t available for payroll input requests.
  • For multi‑job workers, when a manager requests a position‑based input without specifying a position, the skill defaults the input to the worker’s primary position effective on the input start date.
