About Payroll Agent

Payroll Agent is an AI-powered conversational assistant designed to assist with Workday Payroll. It is available to all Workday Payroll countries and includes these skills:

Core Payroll Data Retrieval, which enables the agent to retrieve basic information about workers, pay groups, companies, and more.
You must enable this skill for Payroll Agent to be able to use the other skills.
Payroll Data Insights, which provides access to payroll knowledge and performs actions for users, involving human intervention when necessary.
Identify Missing Data and Configuration, which finds missing or outdated critical payroll data that requires intervening action from a payroll practitioner.
Minimum Wage Analysis, which analyzes the impacts of minimum wage rate changes for states in the U.S. and provinces in Canada.

Payroll Agent:

Can occasionally misinterpret questions or present unexpected results.
Only supports U.S. English.
Only retains the last 20 interactions.

You can’t use Payroll Agent in proxy sessions.

Some functionalities for the agent's skills are country-specific. Example: You can only use the Identify Missing Data and Configuration skill to find and update expiring FLSA worker period calendars for Payroll for the U.S.

You may receive responses from the agent for questions unrelated to Payroll Agent’s skills.
