The Core Reporting Agent includes 2 skills that help you analyze your report data and navigate to related Workday content.

Data Analysis and Exploration | Provides contextual data exploration and insights for your Workday reports. This skill enables you to get answers to your data questions without needing to understand the underlying data structures. When you query the agent, Workday generates automated summaries and explanations of your report data. You can ask follow-up questions or select a suggested follow-up prompt from the agent to continue exploring the data. | The agent only provides analysis of the specific report data it’s enabled on. You can only use the Data Analysis and Exploration skill to analyze data within Advanced reports. |
Redirection and Navigation | Provides navigational support to streamline task completion by directing you to the information you need. This skill enables you to discover and navigate to specific Workday reports and tasks you have access to when your request goes beyond the data available in your active report. When you query the agent, Workday finds the relevant reports or tasks that you’re authorized to access and provides a link to open your selection in the same browser tab. You can continue your conversation with the agent in the same session. | The agent only suggests and redirects you to tasks and reports that your user account has the security permissions to access. |
