Release Impact Analysis
The Adoption Agent uses the Release Impact Analysis skill and the
What’s New in Workday
report to compare automatically available features against your tenant usage data to recommend suggested actions such as testing or review. The agent then delivers an impact analysis report that helps you identify specific reports, fields, and processes that might require review as a result of a release. Impact Analysis Reports
The Adoption Agent assigns 1 of these statuses to the release note in the
Generated Impact Analysis
column of the impact analysis report:Generated Impact Analysis Status | Description |

Analysis Blocked
| The Adoption Agent relies on your security access. The analysis excludes items you cannot view, so the test plan is incomplete. |
Configuration Required
| Workday recommends that you test and configure this feature, as it likely affects your tenant. |
No Impact
| You don’t use the functionality that’s changing.Workday doesn’t expect this feature to affect your tenant. |
Review Only
| The changing functionality is relevant to your tenant, but likely doesn’t affect your existing processes or end users. Workday recommends that you review the feature for potential action. |
Testing Recommended
| Workday expects this feature can impact your existing processes or end users. You can test this functionality using the test plan in the More Details column. |
Unknown Impact
| Workday can't determine the impact on your tenant. See the Impact Summary column for more details. |

| Displays the Adoption Agent's impact analysis of the feature on your tenant, based on your historic usage. |
Target User
| Displays the intended feature user. |
More Details
| Displays a test plan for verifying feature functionality, and a list of actions performed by the Adoption Agent in its analysis. |
Release Note
| Provides a link to the release note on the Release Center. Release notes on the Release Center can include additional information, such as change logs and videos. |
Release Note Corrected Date
| The date that the release note was last corrected. Example: We correct the name of a new task. |
Updated Date
| The date that the release note was last updated. Example: We added a video or documented an additional feature enhancement. |
Feedback on Report
| You can leave feedback on an impact analysis report by clicking the thumbs up or thumbs down icon. |
Security Access
The Adoption Agent relies on the worker's security access to analyze the impact of feature changes to your tenant. When you access the Adoption Agent through a proxy session,it might not return accurate results.
Workers with access to the
Adoption Planning Hub
can view release impact analysis reports without having access to the Adoption Agent.
