Create Vendor Groups

Create Vendor Groups

Set up 1 or more of these authorized services on the vendor’s profile:
  • Contingent Staffing
     if you want to include them in vendor groups for jobs.
  • Statement of Work
     if you want to include them in vendor groups for requests for proposal (RFPs).
You can create vendor groups to distribute job requirements to multiple vendors based on their authorized services, such as contingent staffing or statement of work (SOW).
  1. From the header, select
    More
    Company Settings
    .
  2. From the
    Vendors
     section, click
    Vendor Distribution & Groups
    .
  3. Click
    New Group
    .
  4. Complete the task
    Option Description
    Group Assignment
    Select the:
    • Jobs
       check box if you set up the
      authorized service.
    • RFP
       check box if you set up the
      Statement of Work
       authorized service.
    Add Vendor
    When you select vendors without authorized services for the group assignment, Workday VNDLY displays an alert with a link to enable the authorized services. You can still create the group despite the alert, but VNDLY doesn’t send the job or RFP to vendors who don't have the necessary authorized services
  5. Click
    Save
Create a distribution scenario and attach it to a distribution rule.
