Set Up Custom Tax Identification Numbers for Countries

You can create custom fields for tax identification numbers for countries so that you can display appropriate tax identification numbers throughout VNDLY. Example: In the Netherlands, you need a KVK number and a BTW number. VNDLY delivers these by default, but you can create custom tax identification numbers for other countries.
  1. Access
    Company Settings > Foundational Data > Custom Fields
    .
  2. On the
    Custom Fields
    tab, click
    Create
    .
  3. Enter a
    Field Name
    . Example: KVK Number.
  4. In the
    Type of Field
    field, select
    Text Input
    .
  5. Select
    Permissions
    .
  6. In the
    Form Selection
    section, select
    Vendor Tax Information
    .
  7. In the
    Vendor Tax Information
    field, click
    Advanced Conditions
    .
  8. Select
    Make this field conditionally visible
    .
  9. Click
    And
    .
  10. Enter these values:
    Option Description
    Source
    System Field
    System Field
    Country
    Condition
    Equals
    Country
    Country of your selection. Example: Netherlands
  11. Click
    Save Advanced Settings
    .
  12. As a Vendor user, access
    Company Profile > Edit Profile > Taxes & Payments > Tax Details
    .
  13. Select an option from the custom fields you configured for the selected tax country. If you haven’t configured any fields, this will automatically display as
    Tax Identification Number.
