Manage Report Settings
Have these permissions:
- custom.reports.schedule.adminto see and modify other users' report schedules.
- custom.reports.settings.adminto modify Report Settings in all reports.
You must be the Report Owner or have shared access.
Use the
Settings
tab to manage details of reports, schedule the delivery of a report or share the report with others.- Navigate to theReportspage.Depending on your permissions, you can access this page directly from the VNDLY header or in the drop-down menu.
- Select the report that you want to manage.
- On theSettingstab, in theReport Detailssection, clickEdit.

Option Description Report DescriptionYou could use this space to document the types of data the report covers or why you created the report. This displays on theReportspage.Report OwnerYou can assign the Report Owner by user, role tag, or role. Assigning by role tag or role enables group ownership.Report SectionEnables you to categorize similar reports.Report Config ExportYou can enable users to share the report with others using a configuration export.Report TypeSelectSaved Reportto restrict access to the Report Owner and select users.SelectBase Reportto enable global access to all users with access to the underlying data.Hyperlinks in ExcelYou can enable the report to automatically convert URLs into hyperlinks when you export it.Reporting API DependencyIf you selectYes, the system displays a warning when a user tries to edit the report configuration. The warning shows the API or integration affected. - Complete theReport Sharingsection:
Option Description Vendor CompaniesSelect specific vendor companies from the list to share the report with. This is a multi-select list.Share with all vendor companiesSelect the checkbox to share the report with all vendor companies.The report displays on theReports Homepage for the Role Tags, Users, or Vendor Companies you selected. - ClickSaveto save the changes for theReport Sharingsection.
- (Optional) UnderAPI Parameter Fields, clickNew Parameter Field.You can configure parameter fields to pull data from a report without having to manually filter it. Example: You need a specific Invoice Number.
Option Description Parameter NameThe exact ID or label the external system users to request data.(Optional) DescriptionEnables you to add additional details about the parameter.Data TypeThe format of the data.Default ValueThe fallback value used if the field contains null or missing data. - ClickDone.
