Publish a Job
Publishing a job enables you to post job information, compensation, and requirements for an open position.
On the
Publish Job
page, you can select from Templates
and Recent Jobs
. When using an existing job template, these fields automatically populate: Job Title
, Job Category
, Job Summary
, and Job Description
. - Navigate to theJobspage.Depending on your permissions, you can access this page directly from the VNDLY header or in the drop-down menu.
- ClickPublish Job.
- Select a job template to start from. Consider:
Option Description Templates- Search templates by job title or select from a list of all available jobs.
- UseFilter by Locationto only show jobs that are eligible in the specified job location.
- SelectShow Only Popular Jobsto filter the list of jobs. Your organization determines popular jobs based on the number of requisitions.
Recent Jobs- Search templates by job title or select from a list of recently used jobs.
- Your organization determines recent jobs based on recently used requisitions.
- Complete the task. Consider:
Option Description Hiring TypeSelect:- Contractorwhen the job is for a contingent worker.
- Direct Hirewhen the job is for a permanent, full-time employee. See Set Up Direct Hire.
Pay TypeFor a direct hire, VNDLY calculates the annualized salary range when you select theHourlyoption and enter values for:- Min

You confirm direct hire pay at the offer stage.Payment TermsThis prompt is available for direct hires and when you selectMilestone Paymentsfor contractor positions. - (Optional) If you want to review the anticipated salaries of direct hires, create a custom field for the anticipated salary on these forms:
- Candidate & Contractor Edit
- Candidate & Contractor View (Read Only)
This example illustrates how you can publish a job for a direct hire with custom payment terms. The vendor will be paid 25% of the candidate salary in week 1 and 75% in week 5. onboarding.

Administrator users can modify or assign checklists to the job posting if needed.
If you want to make changes to the payment terms, fee type, or number of payments for a direct hire, edit the job and make the changes before extending the offer to the candidate.
