Concept: Consolidated Candidate Records
The Consolidated Candidate Record acts as a centralized container for multiple candidate profiles belonging to the same individual. One person may accumulate duplicate profiles by applying through different vendors or over long periods.
VNDLY automatically groups these profiles using a matching algorithm to ensure a single, holistic view of a candidate’s history, tenure, and rehire eligibility.
The system functions like an automated folder system:
- Automatic Grouping: The matching algorithm identifies potential duplicates and groups individual profiles under one consolidated candidate record.
- Primary Profile: Within a record, one profile is designated as the primary profile, which typically dictates the display name for the consolidated record.
While VNDLY handles most groupings automatically, the

page enables you to manage these consolidated profiles. You can review these groupings and correct them through 3 operations: Move, Merge, and Split.
- Move: Relocate one or more profiles from one consolidated record to another existing record.
- Merge: Combine two separate consolidated records into one.
- Split: Remove profiles from an existing record to create a brand-new consolidated record.
You can also bulk upload consolidated candidate records if needed. This enables you to add historical records without creating candidates in VNDLY.
