To save you time and effort, you can register groups of students into 1 or more course sections at the same time. Example: Before the academic year begins, you register all recently matriculated students for ENGL-100 because it's a mandatory course that's hidden from the student registration view.

Access the

task.

As you complete the task, consider:

Option	Description
Student Grouping	Select the students that you want to register for the selected course. For criteria-based cohorts in a: Standard academic period, Workday displays students for registration as of the standard start date. Nonstandard academic period, Workday displays students as of the configured start date of the period.
Exclude Students from Selected Student Grouping	Select students from the student grouping who you don’t want to register.
Registered Date	Select a date that’s on or before the current date. You can use this field to create backdated registrations for large student populations.
Enable Waitlisting	Select this check box to waitlist any students who don’t meet the criteria to be registered for the selected course. Otherwise, Workday prevents them from registering.
Override	(Optional) Select this check box for any registration restriction that you want to bypass for the selected students. Workday recommends only bypassing registration restrictions as needed to avoid unexpectedly registering students for courses with restrictions that you aren't intentionally trying to bypass. Example: You only want to override the seat capacity restriction for students and no other restriction. See Concept: Registration Restriction Overrides.

Workday displays the registration results, including unsuccessful registrations and the reasons it was unsuccessful. You can use these grids to help you troubleshoot unsuccessful registrations:
