Concept: Student Activities

Activities are educational offerings that are similar to courses but occur outside the classroom.

You can create the activity in Workday, and then create offerings for it. When you publish the activity offering:

Its status is Open
.

It's available for student registration.

You can track these types of activities in Workday:

Orientation.

Study Abroad.

Practical Learning.

You can also:

Enrollable & Eligible

behavior for the activity.

Assign meeting patterns and locations when you select the

Schedulable

behavior for these activities:

Orientation.

Practical Learning.

You can use the

task to register students in an activity offering. Workday displays the activity on the

profile of the student profile.

You can also configure orientation in the Student Onboarding Event
business process so that students can register for it as a self-service step.
