Steps: Set Up Meeting Patterns

  • Set up academic calendars and period types. See Steps: Set Up Academic Calendars.
  • Security:
    Setup: Curriculum Management
     domain in the Student Records functional area.
You can create meeting patterns that represent the standard days and times for offering courses and activities at your institution. Assign these patterns to course sections and activity offerings to enable:
  • Scheduling.
  • Students to plan and schedule their classes and activities.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Meeting Day Patterns
     task.
    Option Description
    Sort Order
    Specify the order of meeting day patterns that you want to display in Workday.
    Recurring Every # of Weeks
    Add a row to the grid and specify the meeting day and recurrence schedule. Example: Select Friday for the day of the week and 2 for Recurring Every # of Weeks for a meeting that happens every other Friday.
  2. Access the
    Maintain Meeting Patterns
     task.
    Click the
    Create
     button to create standard meeting patterns.
