Articulate Internal Credit
- The student must have multiple academic records.
- Security:Manage: Academic Recordsdomain in the Student Records functional area.
You can have the graded registrations of a student count toward credit on a different academic
record.
- Access theArticulate Internal Credit for Studenttask.
- As you complete the task, consider:
Option Description Articulate Select Registrations OnlyWhen you select this option and clickOK, Workday displays a grid where you can:- Select the registrations to copy from the source to the target academic record.
- Change the units or grades awarded for an articulated registration on the target academic record.
- Remove an articulated registration.
You can enter a zero value forUnitsto articulate graded registrations that don't earn credit but satisfy academic requirements. Example: A graded seminar the student took.Articulate All Coursework from Source Academic RecordSelect this option to display theArticulate Withdrawn Coursescheck box. Select the check box to include courses that earned a withdrawal grade.Source CreditFrom the source academic record, you can select:- Course Registrations: Courses for which the student received credit at your institution.
- External Articulated Registrations: Courses for which the student received transfer credit from an external transcript.
On the
View Internal Articulated Registration
report or on the
related actions menu of the internally articulated registration, you can view the
user who initiated the internal articulation. When a course title changes, Workday
will display the course title that was effective when the student took the
course.On the target academic record, you and students can view:
- The appropriate academic period records.
- The articulated registrations on theAcademic Historyreport on the Academics profile group of the student profile.
- Statistics such as GPA, class standing, and load status based on the articulated registrations.
- The updatedAcademic Progressreport for the student.
