Steps: Create Athletic Teams and Eligibility Rules

You can create athletic teams for your institution and assign eligibility rules to those teams. Example: You can use the eligibility rule on a course offering to reserve it for team members.
  1. Access the
    Create Athletic Team
     task.
    Enter a name and select an academic unit for your athletic team.
    Security:
    Set Up: Athletics
     domain in the Student Core functional area
  2. (Optional) Access the
    Create Student Eligibility Rule
     task.
    For
    Eligibility Rule Type
    , select
    Athletic Team
    . Then specify your eligibility criteria for the team using 1 or a combination of these eligibility criteria:
    • Athletic Team
    • Athletic Status
    • Active
    • Athletic Role
    • Primary Athletic Team
    You can use this eligibility rule on other tasks referenced in the
    Used For
     field.
    Security:
    Manage: Admissions Foundation
     domain in the Admissions functional area and
    Set Up: Student Eligibility Rules
     in the Academic Advising functional area
