Concept: Finding Student Prospects

Use the
Find Student Prospects
report to find an individual or group of student prospects with active recruitments or applications who meet your search criteria. This report also displays students with active recruitments even if they don't currently have active applications.
Security:
  • Manage: Student Applicant
    and
    Manage: Student Prospect
domains in the Student Recruiting and Admissions functional area.
Use Workday global search to find inactive prospects. If the search doesn't return results, click the Student filter category.
Security policies determine who can view or modify each type of information for prospects returned by your search.

Facets

Facets on the find report help you filter search results. Only facets in use are available. Workday hides facets with no values. Example: Application Pool is available as a facet if you have security to see at least 1 prospect in an application pool.

  • Application Requirement Status
  • Application Review Status
  • Recruiting Region

  • Recruitment Admissions Counselor
  • Recruitment Anticipated Start
  • Student Prospect Stage
  • Student Prospect Tags

Keyword Searches

Workday searches these fields when you use global search:

  • Primary Email (public or private)
  • Primary Phone (public or private)
  • Primary Postal Code (public or private)
  • Student ID

Search Results

In the search results, Workday displays the most advanced stage of a prospect under their name, along with the academic unit, level, and anticipated start date.
Example: Stephen Chung is a prospect with an active recruitment at AMCC. In the search results his stage displays as Applicant.
