Concept: Student Tags

You can use the
Create Student Tag
task (secured to the
Manage: Student Tags
domain in the Academic Foundation functional area) to create student tags. Example: Veteran, Athlete, or Scholarship Recipient.
You can assign student tags to student prospects to:
  • Match prospect recruitments with admissions counselors.
  • Find prospects and admissions counselors.
  • Assign applications to application pools.
  • Use as criteria for associating prospects with engagement plans, emails, and event invitations.
You can attach student tags to prospects if the tag:
  • Belongs to the same or superior academic unit as the prospect. The prospect's academic period type, academic period or anticipated start, and program of study determines their academic unit.
  • Belongs to the same academic level as the prospect, or doesn't have an associated academic level.

Tag Categories

You can use the
Create Student Tag Category
task (secured to the
Manage: Student Tags
domain in the Academic Foundation functional area) to create student tag categories. We recommend you group tags into categories to make them easier to find in prompts. Example: Define a Recruiting category that includes tags for:
  • Lacrosse Recruit
  • Legacy
  • Phi Theta Kappa
  • National Merit Scholar
  • Virtual
You can't delete a tag category with tags assigned to it.
