Steps: Create External Associations

Security:
Manage: Educational Institution
 domain in the Academic Foundation functional area.
You can add nonprofit, community-based, or other noneducational organizations to use in recruitment activities for prospective students. You can use external associations:
  • As locations for student recruiting events and education test administration sites.
  • To associate with student prospects.
  • On student eligibility rules.
  • On practical learning activities and offerings.
  1. (Optional) Access the
    Maintain Designations
     task.
    Create designations for external associations. Workday uses designations as a search facet on the
    Find External Associations
     report.
  2. Access the
    Create External Association
     task.
    Enter the applicable contact information for the association.
  3. (Optional) Access the
    Representative
     tab on the external association profile.
    Click
    Add
     to enter names and contact details for the external association.
    When the association hosts recruiting events, you can select these representatives as host contacts.
You can view external associations on the
Find External Associations
 report.
