Steps: Set Up Application Fees for Configurable Online Applications

You can configure Workday to charge or waive student application fees when they apply to your institution on the external student site. You can charge different application fees based on criteria such as programs of study or applicant types.
  1. Create an inbound integration to import application fee payments.
  3. Create a student charge item for the application fee payment so that you can post it to the student's account. In the
    Type
     prompt, select
    Application Fee
    .
  4. Configure a questionnaire to determine eligibility for waiving application fee.
  5. Access the
    Manage Application Fee Waiver Reasons
     report.
    Add reasons that students can select from when requesting application fee waivers on the external student site. You can also select from these reasons when waiving application fees for students.
    Security:
    Manage: Admissions Foundation
     domain in the Admissions functional area.
  6. Specify details about application fees and waivers, such as:
    • Waiver reasons
    • Questionnaires
    • Associated student charge items
    • Payment amounts
