Troubleshooting: Admissions Committees

Admissions committee members can't see previous assessments.

You hide previous assessments and evaluations from 1 or more security groups that include the admissions committee member.
  1. Access the
    View Security Groups for User
     report.
    Identify the security groups that the admissions committee member belongs to.
    Security:
    Security Administration
     domain in the System functional area.
  2. Access the
    Edit Evaluation View
     task.
    As you complete the
    Previous Assessments & Evaluations
     section, consider:
    Option Description
    Hide Section
    If selected, clear this check box.
    Field Display Criterion for Evaluation View
    If the value is:
    • Hide For All
      : Clear the prompt or change the value to
      Security Group
      .
    • Security Group
      : In the
      Hidden For
       prompt, remove security groups that include the admissions committee member.
    Security:
    Manage: Admissions Foundation
     domain in the Admissions functional area.

Not all evaluators receive an application.

Some evaluators aren't members of the admissions committee.
    Security:
    Manage: Admissions Committee Evaluation
     domain in the Admissions functional area.
  1. Select
    Roles
    Assign Roles
     from the related actions menu of the relevant admissions committee.
  2. As you complete the
    Assign Roles
     grid, consider:
    1. Select
      Admissions Committee Evaluator Role
       from the
      Role
       prompt.
    2. Select the admissions committee member from the
      Assigned To
       prompt.

No one on the admissions committee receives an application.

Cause
Solution
You haven't assigned the application pool to the admissions committee.
Security:
Manage: Admissions Committee Evaluation
 domain in the Admissions functional area.
  1. Access the
    Edit Admissions Committee
     task.
  2. Select the relevant application pool from the
    Application Pools to Evaluate
     prompt.
    To assign an applicant pool that you've already assigned to a different committee, you must first remove it from that committee.
You haven't configured assignable roles for admissions committees.
Security:
Set Up: Assignable Roles
 domain in the Organizations and Roles functional area.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Assignable Roles
     task.
  2. Verify that a row with a
    Workday Role
     of
    Admissions Committee Evaluator
     exists. If it doesn't, add the row to the grid.
  3. Verify that the
    Enabled for
     value for the row is
    Admissions Committee
    . If it isn't, select the value.
  4. Configure these values:
    Option

    Admissions Committee Evaluator
    .
    Enabled for
    Select
    Admissions Committee
    .
