Correct a Transmitted Alternative Loan Application

Security:
Manage: Student Loan Application
 domain in the Financial Aid functional area.
You can correct an alternative loan application if you've transmitted changes to your loan servicer and they've rejected the certification or change file. Make changes to the application and then retransmit the file.
  1. Access the
    Find Alternative Loan Applications
     report.
  2. From the
    Alternative Loan Status
     prompt, select
    Certified: Ready to Transmit
    .
  3. Click
    OK
    .
  4. From the related actions menu of the alternative loan application you want to correct, select
    Student Alternative Loan Application
     >
    Edit
    .
  5. Update the loan application.
  6. Click
    OK
    . Workday updates the status of the alternative loan application to
    Change: Ready to Transmit
    .
  7. Initiate the changes again and retransmit them to your loan servicer. See: Initiate Alternative Loan Application Changes.
