You need access to the Manage: Sending Student Engagement Items
domain to send out any engagement items. You also need access for the appropriate Category
to modify any engagement items that belong to it.

You can configure security for each engagement category using the

Maintain Engagement Category Security Segments

task (secured to the Set Up: Engagement Category Security Segments

Workday doesn't send communications for the

Category

of Financial Aid
to students who have opted out of financial aid electronic communications.
