Steps: Set Up Student Holds
Holds enable you to block a process for a student, such as registering for classes or receiving financial aid. You can block multiple processes using 1 hold reason. You can also apply the hold type to all applicable institutions, a selected institution, or the student's academic record.
When you apply holds to students, you also need to configure Workday to remove those holds. This includes holds with a hold type of
Full Registration
, Registration Add
, or Silent Full Registration
, as the standard academic period you select only determines the start date of the hold.- (Optional) Access theCreate Student Hold Reasontask.Provide justification for a hold that you apply to students.
