Example: Create Report to View All Combination Eligibility Rules

This example illustrates how to view all the combination eligibility rules used in your institution.
You're the advising administrator for Alma Mater University. You want to evaluate all the combination eligibility rules that are in use.
  1. Access the
    Create Custom Report
    task.
    As you complete the task, consider:
    Option Description
    Report Name
    Enter
    Combination Eligibility Rules Audit Report
    .
    Report Type
    Select
    Advanced
    .
    Data Source
    Select
    Student Eligibility Rules
    .
    Clear the
    Optimized for Performance
    check box.
  2. On the
    Edit Custom Report
    task, as you complete the
    Columns
    tab, add these rows:
    Business Object
    Field
    Student Eligibility Rule
    Student Eligibility Rule
    Student Eligibility Rule
    Rule Type
    Student Combination Eligibility Rule Line
    Order
    Student Combination Eligibility Rule Line
    And/Or
    Student Combination Eligibility Rule Line
    Selector for Combination Eligibility Rule
    Student Combination Eligibility Rule Line
    Number of Rules
    Student Combination Eligibility Rule Line
    Student Eligibility Rules
  3. Click the
    Filter
    tab and add this row:
    And/Or
    Field
    Operator
    Comparison Type
    Comparison Value
    And
    Rule Type
    in the selection list
    Value specified in this filter
    Combination
  4. Click the
    Prompts
    tab, and select these options:
    • Select
      Use date and time at runtime
      for the
      Effective Date
      prompt.
    • Select
      Use date and time at runtime
      for the
      Entry Date
    • Keep
      Display Prompt Values in Subtitle
  5. Click the
    Share
    tab, and select an option for sharing the report.
Run the report. View all the student eligibility rules using the Combination Eligibility Rule Type.
