Create Typical Attendance Patterns
- Security:Set Up: Typical Attendance Patterndomain in the Academic Advising functional area.
You can create typical attendance patterns for students in a program of study. Workday uses
typical attendance patterns to:
- Derive the expected completion date on a student's program of study record.
- Generate the academic periods in a student's academic plan until the expected completion date of their primary program of study.
- Populate projected load statuses on a student's financial aid attendance plan.
- Determine continuous enrollment when reporting enrollment status changes to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). TheNSC Enrollment Reporting Outboundintegration considers the academic period types in typical attendance patterns as compulsory. See Concept: National Student Clearinghouse Connectors.
You can use the academic calendar policy to assign typical attendance patterns to an academic
unit and level or a program of study.
- Access theCreate Typical Attendance Patterntask.
