Create Contract Lifecycle Management Supplier Contracts in Strategic Sourcing

Set up Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM). See Steps: Set Up Contract Lifecycle Management
You can create CLM supplier contracts within Strategic Sourcing projects using the contract lifecycle management workflow. This enables you to initiate a contract ticket that syncs directly with CLM for authoring and review.
  1. Select
    Navigate
    >
    Pipeline
     >
    Projects
    .
  2. Select the project that you want to create a contract for.
  3. Select
    Create Contract
    from 1 of these locations:
    1. The
      Project Details
       section of the
      Project Information
       tab.
    2. The
      Authoring Contracts
       section of the
      Contracts
      tab.
    3. A sourcing event in the
      RFXs
       section of the
      Sourcing
       tab.
  4. In the
    Workflow
    prompt, select a contract lifecycle management workflow.
  5. (Optional) Select a
    Supplier
    for the contract.
  6. Click
    Continue to Contract
    .
    Workday opens the intake form in Contract Lifecycle Management.
  7. Complete the form and click
    Create Ticket
    .
  8. (Optional) To update the name of the contract record, click the
    More
    icon and select
    Rename ticket
    .
The new CLM supplier contract is accessible in the
Contracts
 tab of the Strategic Sourcing project and in CLM.
In CLM, review, sign, and finalize the contracts. See Steps: Manage Contract Lifecycle Management Workflow Tickets.
