- Access theMaintain Payroll Reporting Codestask.
- Select the payroll reporting type that you want to define.Examples:California Branch CodeorMinnesota Unit Code.
- Enter a name and a code for each valid reporting code.Example: For the geographicCalifornia Branch Code, create a unique name and 3-digit code.
You can access the:
- Payroll Reporting Codesreport to view the codes, usage counts, and number of inactive codes.
- Tax Filing Quarterly Data for Workersreport and select theInclude Reporting Codescheck box to view codes with worker tax filing quarterly data.
- View Payroll Reporting Codes for Workerreport to view indicates whether a code is inactive.
You can’t delete codes with a usage count, but you can inactivate them by selecting the
Inactive
check box on the Maintain Payroll Reporting Codes
task. Inactivating a code doesn't remove it from a worker.
