Adjust MCB Threshold Configuration (AUS)
- Security:Set Up: Payroll (Superannuation) - AUS
- A Superannuation Default Configuration.
You can assign alternative Maximum Contributions Base (MCB) limits or MCB Excess rules to groups of workers using restriction rules within a superannuation configuration period. Workday evaluates a worker against each of the restriction rules in order until there’s a matching rule.
If you leave the grid blank, the legislated MCB rate from the advanced lookup table will apply, and the default MCB rule for the tenant will apply.

A group of workers in your organization have rules from a prior agreement that are different from your default method of treating earnings over the MCB. You can use superannuation configuration restriction rules to identify these workers and apply different MCB rules in the pay calculation.
