Pay Component
Generic term for anything that can add to or subtract from a worker's net pay. Includes:
  • Earnings.
  • Deductions.
  • Pay component related calculations (PCRCs).

Pay component groups always filter by worktag.

Adds or subtracts the values of included:
  • Earnings.
  • Deductions.
  • PCRCs.
  • Pay component groups.
  • Other pay accumulations.
You can configure the pay accumulation to filter the values by worktag.
For Payroll for the UK, it's important to associate the UK Payroll ID worktag with pay accumulations.

Adds the values of one or more pay component balances over time. Example: the year-to-date balance of a loan repayment.

  • Pay component groups.
You can configure the pay balance to filter the values by worktag.
For Payroll for the UK, it's important to associate the UK Payroll ID worktag with pay balances.
