Reference: Journeys Manager Experience

Workday provides the Manager Experience for Journeys to enable direct managers or matrix managers to view the assigned journeys of their direct reports. This visibility assists managers in supporting their teams, balancing workloads, and driving journey completion.
You can use this topic to help you make decisions when planning your configuration for your managers. You must:
  1. Create a new security group or utilize an existing segment-based security group for managers.
  2. Configure the
    Manage: Team’s Journeys
     security domain.
  3. Manage access permissions on journeys or journey categories.
  4. Assign the security group to the
    Manage: Team’s Journeys
    domain with
    View Only
     access using the Domain Security Policies for Functional Area report.
  5. Specify which journeys managers can see by selecting these options on the
    Settings
    tab and modify the
    Journey Manager Access
     prompt of a journey or a journey category:
    • No Access
      : Automatically managers can’t view their Team’s Journeys for their team.
    • View Only
      : Managers with security permissions can view their Team’s Journeys for their team.
    • Inherit access from category
      : The journey uses this setting by default.

Ensure matrix managers are assigned to the appropriate security group and provide them with a custom report, as the delivered report is optimized for direct reports.
