Create Themes and Sub-themes

Security:
Set Up: Tenant Setup - System
 domain in the System functional area.
You can create and apply themes to customize your tenant branding and maintain a consistent visual identity for your users. Theme-based configuration enables you to:
  • Create themes from scratch, as well as rename, duplicate, deactivate, or delete themes.
  • Apply branding rules to prioritize themes and control which users can view specific themes.
  1. Access the
    Configure Tenant Branding
     task.
  2. Click
    Enable Themes
    .
    Workday doesn't display the Enable Themes button when you already have themes enabled in your tenant.
  3. Click
    Create Theme.
  4. Enter a theme name.
  5. (Optional) Enter a description.
  6. (Optional)Select a branding rule to control who can view the theme.
  7. Upload logo images.
  9. On the
    Brand Colors
     section, select an accent color for your theme.
    Custom hex colors don't display on Workday mobile.
  10. On the
    Web App Color Application
     section, select a primary button color and navigation color for the Workday desktop application.
    1. Select a branding rule.
    2. Upload logo and banner images.
    3. Select primary and accent colors.
  11. Click
    OK
    .
  12. Click
    Create Sub-theme
    .
You can prioritize branding rules for themes and sub-themes based on user attributes to provide your users with a targeted brand experience across Workday tenants. To reorder branding rules:
  1. Click
    Reorder Branding Rules
    .
  2. Order priority rules for themes and sub-themes.
  3. Click
    OK
    .
