This video focuses on creating branches within a questionnaire. Branching logic ensures candidates only answer follow-up questions relevant to their previous responses, streamlining the application experience.
First, we open our existing questionnaire for editing. We already have an existing questionnaire asking the candidate if they're legally eligible to work. If the candidate answers "Yes," we need a follow-up question asking them to upload their proof of work eligibility.
To do this, under the
Yes
option of the existing legal work eligibility question, we select Maintain Question Branch
. We then create a follow-up question asking the candidate to provide proof of work eligibility. The follow-up question enables the candidate to upload attachments.We have successfully created a clear dependency using branching. This concept can be expanded significantly. Workday supports up to 6 levels of nested branching.
Let's preview the questionnaire to confirm the new branching logic works. Workday only displays the follow-up question if the candidate selects
