Example: Set Up Private Self-Requested Feedback
This example illustrates how to set up the
Get Feedback on Self
task so that workers can request private feedback about themselves.As an HR administrator, you want to enable workers to request private feedback about
themselves. You also want to prevent the feedback giver from sharing that feedback
with others.
Configure these business processes in the Performance Enablement functional area:
- Get Feedback on Worker
- Give Requested Feedback
Security: These domains in the Performance Enablement functional area:
- Self-Service: Feedback
- Self-Service: Self Requested Feedback
- Worker Data: Private Feedback
- Set up a default template that workers can use when asking for private feedback:
- Access theCreate Feedback Templatetask, and enter these values:TypeFeedback on SelfNameSelf-Requested Feedback Template
- In theQuestionsgrid, click the + icon to add a row and select these values:QuestionRelates ToHow can I be a better team member?Teamwork (Competency)What is the 1 area or skill that I should focus on improving?Job Competence (Competency)
- Enable private feedback in the feedback setup:
- Access theMaintain Feedback Setuptask.
- In theGive Feedbacksection, clear these check boxes:
- Disable Private Feedback
- Enable Private Feedback for Give Requested Feedback
- In theGet Feedbacksection, clear theDisable Private Feedbackcheck box.
- In theDefault Templatessection, select theSelf-Requested Feedback Templatein theFeedback on Selffield.
- Provide instructions to your workers that when initiating theGet Feedback on Selftask, select theShare with meoption to ensure that the feedback is private.
