Concept: Interests
Interests in Workday enable employee as self users to create and maintain information related
to their career and job interests. Using Interests, your employees can plan their career
growth or job transitions within your organization. Workday doesn't support career or
job interests for contingent workers.

When you enable Interests in Workday, your employees can:
- Quickly create, revise, and post their interests through theTalent and Performancedashboard or theCareer Profile.
- Plan their career trajectory by comparing their current role with other employees in your organization using theCompare Worker to Jobsreport.
- Share career aspirations with managers to help plan the learning required to grow in their current roles or transition into other roles.
- Access theOpportunity Graphreport to plan possible next moves for their career internally.

- Consolidated Interests - offersCareer(consists ofJob Profiles,Skills Interests,Career Preferences, andCareer Interests),Travel, andRelocationsections under the new consolidatedInterestsreport on theCareer for Worker Profileprofile group.Enable theManage Interestsbusiness process (secured to theSelf Service: InterestsandWorker Data: Interestsdomains) to set up the consolidated interests view in the worker profile.
- Unconsolidated Interests - offersCareer Interests,Job Interests(Job Profiles),Travel, andRelocationsections as separate reports in theCareer for Worker Profileprofile group. Workday recommends replacing these reports with the consolidatedInterestsreport that simplifies the user experience for your employees.
