Steps: Automatically Decline a Candidate's Remaining Job Applications
You can configure Workday to automatically close the remaining job applications for a
candidate when you move them to the
Ready for Hire
stage.- Access theMaintain Recruiting Dispositionstask.
- Add the disposition you want to use for automatically declined job applications. Example: Candidate Hired for Another Job.
- Map the disposition to a Workday-delivered one.This mapping displays as the status for automatically declined job applications on the candidate profile.
- Select theDisposition Remaining Jobscheck box.
Security:Set Up: Recruitingdomain in the Recruiting functional area. - Edit theJob Applicationdynamic business process.Add the disposition you created in step 1 to thePossible Dispositionssection of each stage where you want Workday to close a hired candidate's remaining job applications.
- Edit Business Processes.Add theDecline Remaining Jobsbatch process as a step to theReady for Hirebusiness process. Workday recommends sending a notification to the recruiter or manager of the jobs for the declined job applications.
When a candidate moves to the
Ready for Hire
stage and reaches this step, Workday:- Declines their remaining active job applications.
- Displays Recruiting System in thePersoncolumn on theEvent Process Historyreport for the events initiated by this step.
