Steps: Automatically Decline Candidates for Filled Jobs

domain in the Recruiting functional area.You can configure Workday to decline the remaining active job applications when you fill the last job opening on a job requisition. A job is filled when a recruiter or hiring manager completes the hiring of a candidate in Workday.
- Edit Business Processes.Add theDecline Remaining Candidatesbatch process as a step to theReady for Hirebusiness process.You can also include a step delay on this business process step so that the initiation doesn't occur until you enter aCandidate Start Dateon the offer.
- Access theMaintain Recruiting Dispositionstask.Select theDisposition Remaining Candidatescheck box for theReasonyou want to use when closing the remaining job applications on the job requisition. You can only select this check box for 1 reason.Security:Set Up: Recruitingdomain in the Recruiting functional area.
- Edit Business ProcessesOn theJob Applicationbusiness process, add the disposition in thePossible Dispositionsgrid.
When you move a candidate to the Ready for Hire stage and there are no more open positions on the job requisition, Workday:
- Identifies all other candidates who applied to the job requisition.
- Declines their active job applications, and closes their job application events.
- Displays Recruiting System in thePersoncolumn on theEvent Process Historyreport for the events initiated by this step.
