Steps:Set Up Candidate Grid

Steps:Set Up Candidate Grid

If your organization uses HiredScore Spotlight:
  • Set up HiredScore Spotlight.
  • Assign the
    Candidate Data: HiredScore Spotlight
domain in the HiredScore functional area to the recruiting roles and security groups that should view Spotlight grades in Candidate Grid.
Security: These domains in the Recruiting functional area:
  • Set Up: Recruiting
  • Set Up: Candidate Lists
  • Candidate Data: HiredScore Spotlight
    in the HiredScore functional area
You can use Candidate Grid configurations to give recruiters and hiring managers access to a broad set of candidate information while controlling which columns they see by default. You can hide data-heavy columns to keep the grid focused and support faster load times.
When
Filter on Hidden Columns
is enabled, recruiters can filter by fields that aren’t displayed as columns. Recruiters can also personalize column visibility without changing the configuration that you assign to their organization.
When your organization uses HiredScore Spotlight, you can include the
Grade
column in Candidate Grid configurations so recruiters can view HiredScore Spotlight grades in the grid.
Candidate Grid doesn’t deliver new security domains for the grid experience. Users retain the same access as the existing candidate list experience. Viewing the
Grade
column requires access to the
Candidate Data: HiredScore Spotlight
domain.
You can assign configurations to job requisitions and the Recruiting Hub.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Feature Opt-Ins
    task and enable
    Candidate Grid
    .
    You can’t reverse this opt-in.
  2. Access the
    Create Grid Configuration
    task.
Create a blank Candidate Grid configuration or copy the delivered default configuration.
    Specify:
    • The columns that appear in the grid.
    • The columns that remain hidden.
    • The initial sort order.
To support faster grid load times, Workday hides these columns in the delivered default Candidate Grid configuration:
    • All Job Titles
    • Email
    • Jobs Applied to
    • Phone
    • Resume
    • Skills
You can configure to display these columns if your recruiters need them.
If your organization uses HiredScore Spotlight, you can include the
    Grade
column in the configuration and set the initial sort order by grade to surface top candidates when the grid loads.
  3. Access the
    Maintain Candidate List Assignment
    task.
Assign the Candidate Grid configuration to job requisitions and the
    Recruiting Hub
    .
  4. Access the
    Tenant Analyzer
report and review the Candidate Grid performance recommendations.
Recruiters and hiring managers can use Candidate Grid from supported recruiting entry points. Workday applies the assigned configuration to the
Active
and
Inactive
tabs, including column visibility, field security, filters, and initial sorting.
When
Filter on Hidden Columns
is enabled, recruiters can filter by fields that aren’t displayed in the grid. This behavior applies to columns hidden in the assigned configuration and columns that recruiters hide in their personal view. Personal column preferences don’t change the assigned configuration.
When recruiters have access to
Candidate Data: HiredScore Spotlight
domain, Workday displays the
Grade
column with HiredScore Spotlight grades in Candidate Grid.
When you don’t specify an initial sort order, Workday sorts candidates by recruiting stage and job application creation date.
